Captivating flash

This was a very poignant flash. Technically and artistically, there were some cool special effects and styles. Creatively, there was some fascinating imagery. The music went very well with the climax of the story. Ah shoot, it's very nice.

I don't know if you've considered this, but you should really make a special edition of this.

Really though, after you do your special edition thing, you should make a bigger movie with a plot. Because for this random movie with good drawings and somewhat limited animation to get a 2.8/5 probably means that you can do a lot better if you blah blah blah.

Enjoyed

I definitely liked this movie, because the animation was very impressive, but the story was so dumb. I think you are a much better clay animator than knox is, but you're trying to do the same type of humor as he is, and that's bad.

You might just ignore this review because I don't like knox's works, but that's undoubtedly just my opinion (obviously, based on his scores, right?)

Try to expand a little, story-wise, and if possible, ditch knox.

The humor wasn't meant to be like knox's, maybe his style snuck in there, but I tried to make it funny in my own way. Im still trying to figure out what could be really funny in a clay animation and still be my style. And yes, a dumb story, I do em a lot. Also, you saying that I should ""ditch" Knox? I dont understand. When he wasn't popular I wanted to help him out. Even though he's really popular now, doesnt change the fact that he's an animator and animators need to help eachother. Just because YOU think I should just "ditch" him, doesn't mean I will.Robert or "Knox", is an awesome person. Cant get rid of that guy lol. Thanks for your suggestions and the review though!! (If this review sounded stupid, im sorry lol)

It was alright

I'm not certain why everybody likes you so much. You don't seem to be improving too much. Animation less choppy, sure, but the only movie of yours that I've enjoyed so far is "Jacob". These really aren't that funny. I think it would be a nice break if you were to actually make one with a story.

No, I'm serious. All of your jokes are so cheap. And it's really lame that your movies get such high ratings. I guess it isn't your fault... but I remember reading something you said against the artist "LegendaryFrog" because people automatically would vote five on his works... Now the same can be said of you, but you don't really seem to care. You haven't said something to the effect of "don't vote 5 unless you really mean it" and so you're getting away with the accidental sell-out that nobody seems to care about.

Here's hoping you read this:
I think this movie was a waste of time.
Here is the plot as I see it: A guy shoots a bird, and then a oogly boogly guy comes and dances a little, and the bird comes back to life (it wasn't even up from ashes, just up from being shot to death, so the phoenix reference was a little weak.) And then the bird seeks revenge and kills the guy, and the oogly boogly man doesn't save the other guy because this is a simplistic story, and then everybody is happy.

On a positive side, it was very stylistic, and the sound fit very well, and I thought it was an enjoyable and well directed movie, if not for the terrible plot.

I hope you write something better in the future.

Thanks for the thoughts!! I had a few problems with this one, myself and you hit on one of them--the ashes thing... Also, I was gonna have the 'oogly boogly' (lol) guy torture the kid some rather than save him...
Here's one you'll appreciate.... in my haste to end this flash, a very small overlooked detail in the very last scene actually changed the main character of the movie... (lol) ooops.

I reviewed one of the others.. forget which.

The sound has improved so much since the last one! Its ridiculous how much thats improved! (Drop the other guy from last time, he blew compared to this guy (the non-main character))
It was a lot more clear, too, so it felt a lot better.

Where was the pencil???

Why the hell did you take so long? If you don't have a story planned for this series, go write one, and then drop whatever other stuff you're doing (even school, school sucks, don't go) and work on this all the time and make a new episode every couple days and this could get big.

I laughed.. in my head.. a couple times, too.

The other guy from last time lost his mic, thats why i needed a new guy.

It took me a while cause at first I thought it had no potential, but obviously I've found it does, and I was doing fuzzies for a while.

And I think numero quatro will be coming soon to a newgrounds near you, so look for it. :D

duuuuuuuude, I've seen this before! Why would you bother stealing such a bad movie? THATS ALREADY ON NEWGROUNDS? I don't know where it is on the site, but I know I've seen it before.. I don't know how to blow the whistle, but if I did.. I would.

I had this on NG before, and have sorted some of the glitches out, so shut the fu@@ up you noob, and go make flash, or better still registure, then i can take this piss out of you and your work

Meh

I gave you a 5/5 because I can tell you worked hard on it. But its just soooo boring!!! if you're gonna do frame by frame then you might as well make an actual movie! like with a plot and stuff! Well it was pretty well animated, a little choppy, maybe increase frame rate. Good job though. Make another with a story and it'll be great.

Really spiffy

I haven't even seen the first one yet, but I really liked this. The sounds suck though.. maybe get a better mic and make a newer better version of this.

Ill advise you not to see the first one. It sucked, i had a WORSE mic, and did that thing in less than an hour. I only spent time on this cause people liked that. And ill be spending more time on ep 3. :)

y'know what began to bother me? that no matter what anybody did to the other, nobody got hurt! he'd get shot with a big beam and then just recover! he'd get shot in the head with 2 arrows, then they'd get hammered in and he'd just recover! (meh) well anyway, it was enjoyable.
